2 h Rated Non-Load Restricted Wood Floor?

What is out there for a non-load restricted 2 h rated wood frame floor assembly?

The only one I found in my search was M514 which is quite a monstrosity (2 h finish rating!). There are some others with fewer layers of drywall, but all seem to have a load restriction. Based on UL guides, load restrictions are particularly impactful for wood floors (factor of 0.65 applied).

  1. The load-restriction table should be reviewed as the 0.65 factor is based upon nominal 2×10 wood joist members only. OWWJ / trusses are not mentioned. Other options exist with cUL listings with concrete topping or cementitious backer units. One will need a login on the UL/ULC web-site.
